Surveying
Miller & Associates’ land surveying team has over 130 years of combined experience. This experienced team offers a variety of land surveying services to meet the needs of numerous entities including private landowners, large tract developers, banks, attorneys, municipalities, realtors, and title insurance companies.
Our surveyors use state-of-the-art electronic distance and angle measurement equipment which includes Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) as well as the conventional transit and tape. With the combination of highly qualified employees and high-tech equipment, we can provide a survey that meets your needs and helps protect your property investment.
Miller & Associates offers the following types of surveys:

ALTA/ACSM Survey: A survey made for the purpose of supplying a title company and/or lender with information to fulfill Table A requirements from the ALTA/ASCM Minimum Standard Detail Requirements.

Boundary Survey: An accurate survey of one or more parcels of land made to establish or reestablish boundary lines and/or to obtain data for the preparation of a legal description for purposes of recording a new deed.

Construction Survey: Construction staking of improvements shown on building plans for control of construction on developments for roads, buildings, pipelines, etc.

Control Survey: Precise location of horizontal and vertical positions of points for use in boundary determination, mapping from aerial photographs, construction staking, and other related purposes.

FEMA Elevation Certificate: A determination of elevations located on a parcel of land that is needed to rate a property for Flood Insurance.

Improvement Survey: A survey to satisfy requirements of lending or insuring agencies to identify buildings and improvements within the boundaries of a particular tract of land. Corner monuments are located, verified and/or reestablished. The dimension of the parcel and improvements are reflected on a detailed plat that includes the legal description and surveyor’s certification.

Site Planning Survey: A combination of boundary and topographic survey for the preparation of a site plan to be used for designing building improvements or land developments.

Subdivision Survey: A survey dividing undeveloped land into blocks, lots, streets, parks, etc., in accordance with state laws and county or city ordinances.

Topographic Survey: A survey locating natural and man-made topographic features such as buildings, improvements, fences, elevations, trees, streams, contours of the land, etc.
