Wastewater and water evaluations or “facility plans” allow a community to complete future planning. These evaluations review the existing wastewater treatment and collection system or the water system wholly. The study focuses on future monitoring requirements that are proposed by the State Regulating Agency that may include new NPDES standards for the wastewater treatment facility or new water quality testing standards for the drinking water. The study proposes improvements for up to a 20-year planning period and develops estimated improvement costs and operating and maintenance costs to keep the specific system in continued compliance with proposed future standards. Miller & Associates approaches these evaluations with individual community’s needs in mind. This allows proposed improvements to be fashioned to the future needs of the specific communities in Nebraska and Kansas. Please contact Christopher A. Miller, P.E. for all of your wastewater and water evaluation needs. |
